Our Technology

Digital Photography

We use digital photography to communicate with our labs for the finest cosmetic results possible. It is also a great way to document before and after cosmetic treatment such as teeth whitening, veneers, and orthodontics. See our Smile Gallery.

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras are an excellent means of allowing the patient to view a potential dental condition in ther own mouth. It is much easier to understand what is happening in your mouth if you can see the problem on a large screen. This digital image can be utilized to provide information to insurance companies and other doctors if necessary.

Diagnodent Laser

The Diagnodent helps detect dental caries at the earliest possible stage so that the most appropriate treatment can be presented to you. Diagnodent is a fluorescent laser that finds cavities which lie beneath the surface of the tooth. There are often cavities that x-rays and the explorer do not find. This advanced technology helps to preserve a greater amount of your tooth structure by discovering dental decay before it progresses too far.

Digital X-rays

Digital radiography is a form of x-ray imaging, where digital x-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. The advantages are less radiation for the patient and immediate viewing of the image on the computer screen. The images can also be enhaced and digitally transferred.

Rotary Endodontics

Rotary Endodontics, or root canal, is a method in which the doctor utilizes an electric handpiece to perform the procedure. The electric handpiece allows the doctor to clean and shape the canals faster than using hand files and because it is electric, there is no drill noise. This makes the whole treatment experience much more pleasant.

Flat screens

Flat screen televisions are above all chairs for you to relax and watch TV, view your digital x-rays, and to see the inside of your mouth with the intraoral camera.
